Support after an experience
An experience with a psychoactive substance may sometimes be followed by difficult reactions linked to trouble understanding or integrating the experience. These usually resolve well. However, they must be taken seriously and deserve appropriate support if they become too intense or persist over time.
Basic advice
- Seek support from someone you trust and with whom you can share what you're going through.
- Keep a regular schedule: sleep, rest enough, eat and hydrate well.
- Exercise to help reduce anxiety.
- Take care of yourself and enjoy pleasant activities (walks, massages, baths, writing, drawing).
If things become too intense or persist, seek help from a professional.
In case of emergency, call emergency services or your doctor as soon as possible.
